Genvict Supports the Launch of the First Intelligent Vehicle Infrastructure Cooperative Bus Line in China

As a consequence of Shenzhen Transportation Bureau Bao'an Administration's efforts to facilitate the visit to Shenzhen International Convention & Exhibition Center, a smart bus line beginning from Tangwei Metro Station on Line 11 was launched. It is China's first bus line adopting Vehicle Infrastructure Cooperative (VIC)-SMART-BRT system, enabling 15-minute speedy travel to the exhibition center with non-stop priority during peak hours.

The smart bus project is the first successful case that applied intelligent vehicle infrastructure cooperation (i.e. V2X) technology in batches to realize bus priority application in China. Genvict, as the V2X products and solution provider in the project, offers low-latency and high-reliability vehicle-infrastructure communication to acquire the real-time bus status and interact with traffic signal controller. Through speed guidance, flow monitoring and other scientific measures, the system is able to balance the pedestrian crossing needs and the passing priority of exhibition buses, realizing the collaboration of pedestrians, vehicles, roads and cloud.

As the pioneer developing V2X products and solutions in China, Genvict plays an extremely important role in promoting the development and commercialization of vehicle-infrastructure collaborative technology in China. At present, Genvict has done a lot of exploration in vehicle-infrastructure collaboration, and actively participated in pilot projects at home and abroad, including the first C-V2X "four layers" interoperability application demonstration. Genvict also took the lead in realizing the mass production of V2X products meeting with vehicle regulation requirements, and was authorized as the Industrial R&D Center of Key Technologies and Equipment for Intelligent Vehicle-Infrastructure Collaborative System by Ministry of Transport.
